Sunday sunrises are made for desert drives, and this Sunday we kicked off another Basic Training journey with a new generation of aspiring off-road drivers.

Lesson One is all about building the foundations, convoy discipline, car control, communication and getting comfortable in a whole new environment. A first introduction to the desert, with plenty of new challenges to warm everyone up for the lessons ahead.

This morning’s session was a great success. With every crest, the confidence grew, and before long the team was flowing smoothly together through the desert, putting those new skills into practice.

From sunrise to the final exit, we could see the foundations being built, and this generation is already showing plenty of promise. Now the fun really begins as we look forward to watching their skills develop over the next few lessons, ramping up the techniques, terrain and challenges.
