There was some excitement in the air and at the same time a lovely sense of calm at the meeting point for Basic training 6 drive this morning.

Our trainees were in good spirits and the confidance on the sand toady really shone through after an intense 5 weeks of lessons. To reach this point in the training is not easy and today was about testing all the new skills so with no time to waste the warm up got underway.

The warm up session started very smooth and convy was moving through the dunes gracefully and with purpose. A few hours of navigating various obstacles we spent some time around the mountain of Pink Rock to do some climbs. The North Eastern side was very rutted out giving our suspension a very hard work out, but non the less our trainees managed to climb high.

Crossing over to the Southern face revealed much smoother slopes for even higher climbs before a well deserved break at chefs bowl. Meeting up with another Fellas convoy it was time to put our new Fellas to the test, making sure to take them through all diciplines. They showed us that they have what it takes to progress to their new level.

Congratulations team, you have earned your flags so fly them with pride, you have all accomplished something that takes months to master in only a few weeks. We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy Jr and Fun level trips.
