A near perfect morning with the sunrise to greet us and the sound of deflating tires we could feel that todays was going to be the start of something exciting.

Its always great to start a new generation’s journey from the very beginning, these Fellas came early to deflate and eager to drive, meaning our briefing started almost on time. After a quick recap on some disciplines, safety briefing and driving plan for the morning, the convoy order was dispatched and radio  frequency set.

Warm up went smooth with not very many second tries and the day would only yield 2 recoveries, all mainly due to adjusting for perfect momentum to cross the dunes crest. Once we hit the technical area the convoy had nice flow while we made our way to our break area. Here we practiced some tips on making self recovery easier before we picked up the pace.

In the lager dunes these training really started to shine, good control, momentum and disciplines was all on display and we could see training elements already in good practice to manage certain situations. The last part of the drive was a good mix of technical area, bigger dunes and some beautiful side slopes all the way to the exit making everyone finishing strong, confident and on time.
