Basic training 1
A beautiful clear sky with persimmon coloured sky greeted us this morning for the first lesson of Basic Training.
With a few Fellas kissing the sand for the first time we had to cover all the basics before the warmup. With briefing done we quickly got stuck into warmup.
In the first part there was some caution and signs of hesitation which very quickly melted away with crossing the first dune. We stared very easy and slowly picked up the pace as everyone warmed up and gained some confidence.
As the trip progressed the terain changed, big dunes small dunes, technical and then massive side slopes which our convoy gobbled up like a tasty breakfast buffet. Not many stucks or second tries but the few we had our Sweeper handle quickly and smoothly.
After a good 3 hours of adrenaline pumping action we exited on time and everyone over exceeded my expectations, from what we saw in the first 30 min to the last hour of the drive was like night and day, everyone was driving incredibly well at the end.

What a report! I very much enjoyed being out there in the big sand box again and with such a great re-start and drivers! I’m looking forward to the next drives 😊

Awesome trip indeed, started nice and easy and slowly progressed to epic fun and adrenaline. It was great to slowly progress through multiple level of difficulties and technicalities, awesome way to kick off! Thanks Marc,Marko, and Hussam for the trip.
It was quite a cold morning but we warmed up quick enough. Great trip and team work, looking forward to see this group progressing, and pleasure meeting you all.
