Back in the Saddle
The trip was planned 15 min earlier than the usual time so we could get in a few extra miles, but unfortunately, we had some late comments. For those on time, a big thank you and those who were not….. Let’s not do it again.
After the briefing, convoy order was set, @coppercon 2nd lead, Mahmood, Pradeep, Sid, Salah as sweeper and Marko as Marshall. We started off with some easy cresting but dunes were very sharp, sand was mixed with very soft patches and some hard wet places due to some rain in the week, so convoy was moving slowly in the beginning. After a stuck and some second tries the pace picked up a bit with some big side sloping and hill climbs. After exploring a technical area with a lot of bushes! sweeper had the opportunity to fix a tier pop-out before we made our way to the exit at 9:00 after 32km.

Solid second lead today and a perfect example of good communication, at all times I knew what was happening and excellent safety distance to correct the track when needed.

You did great, all challenges were met with good control and technique. I’m confident in you ability now and next time I will push you a bit harder, I know you can handle it.

Good drive today and I didn’t see and jumping and crazy stuff👌. A few mistakes today but after a quick session with Marshall, you got back on the right track.

Flying Your Countries colours with pride today! You drove well, keep on like this.
Salah
Big thank you for the support and congrats on fixing your first tier pop out. Now that you know how, next time will be quicker and this is exactly what we need from sweepers.
