Advanced Training Trials

Few places are as fun and challenging as the dunes of Sweihan—there’s no better playground to test our Junior drivers’ skills and rigs.

We kicked things off in Nahil on a warm Saturday afternoon. Summer is definitely on its way, and we could feel the heat creeping in, even though we’ve been lucky to enjoy great weather this late into April.

After a solid safety briefing, we wasted no time getting moving. The warm-up quickly turned into a fast-paced dash across the slopes, setting the tone for the day. Once everyone had their fill, we pushed on toward the Sweihan area, where even bigger dunes awaited.

The second half of the drive stepped things up a notch—faster pace, sharper turns, and plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the relatively quiet Nagrah. Crest after crest, our Juniors handled it all with confidence and skill.

Following a short break under the shade of some Ghaf trees, we headed toward the exit, increasing the challenges one last time. The team rose to it brilliantly, conquering each obstacle—even if a few required a second attempt.

Near the end, we encountered a mechanical failure that damaged the cooling system on one of the rigs. No problem for this crew—it was quickly and safely towed out for recovery.

Excellent work, team. Strong driving all around, and you’re more than ready for the next step. Keep your eyes open for Advanced Training kicking off in May.

A big shoutout to our support crew, Niall and Bal, for keeping the convoy safe and running smoothly.

Catch you all on the slopes soon.
