We’re well and truly into the summer heat and what better time to push our aspiring Off-road Juniors to new heights?

Advanced training is no joke. It’s an intense course, and the trial drives are designed to prep them for the grit and grind ahead. Not everyone is ready to take that next step, so we put them to the test spotting the gaps and working to close them, both literally and figuratively.

To kick off the summer season, we headed out to the towering dunes of Nahil. A faster pace, steeper climbs, taller dunes, and silky soft side slopes were all part of the recipe to challenge our Juniors.

The first half was a bit of a warmup, with a few second tries slowing us down. But our sweeper Pavel was always quick on the scene, helping keep the convoy moving smoothly. Once we crossed the Gatch road, everything clicked our pace picked up, and the convoy flowed beautifully across those untouched, smooth soft slopes. A perfect contrast to the bumpier dunes up north!

With the second half of the drive, we found our rhythm, made up for lost time, and cruised to our exit point where we aired up for the ride home.
