Advanced Training Trials

The next round of preparation for advanced training kicked off bright and early this morning, well before dawn.

Our mission? To level up our green juniors by giving them some serious experience on tougher, more demanding terrain and to start getting them comfortable with the uncomfortable.

We launched into high gear right from the start, snaking through steep slopes and tackling challenging bowls, setting the scene for the rest of the drive.

As we steadily increased the difficulty, we reached our morning break spot at the foot of Nagrah dune. Here, we enjoyed some Karak and a few snacks, giving our engines a much-needed break from the summer heat before pressing on.

With our well-deserved break behind us, it was time to really pick up the pace. We tackled the east and west faces of Nagrah but pushed a bit too hard and had to fix a pop-out before continuing.

Making our way to the exit, we kept the revs high and made the sand fly. Some of our convoy had to slow down a bit to avoid overheating, but we all reached the exit in high spirits and good time.

Many thanks to Sarah and Marcin for keeping an eye on the convoy and helping with pop-outs and recoveries. Great driving from Oriol and Ludovic – even though they still have much to learn, their skills are starting to get polished. See you all on the slopes soon!
