Ab Initio – Report
OK chaps, we did Ab Initio training No. 1 and I would like to say it was more than successful.
We were a small group of happy people. I cannot ask for anything better than that.
We started our talks with coffee at sunrise ,followed by equipment presentation we recommended for desert challenges.
Some of members has already experience in desert driving with other clubs, and they’r equipment where complete.
When we finished talking part, we started with a Junior Level drive.
As a result of this training are new Desert Fellas juniors and offroaders with “Ab Initio” Badges in their profiles, which we are considering very important. CONGRATULATIONS ALL!!!
We especially congratulate all those who have met all the conditions for getting the Desert Fellas flag.
This approach proved to be correct, and the plan is to continue with this practice for all new Desert Fellas.
All those who missed this Ab Initio will have a chance for the next one in about a month time.
I wish to thank to everyone who participated and looking forward to see you on our future trips.
Second day was nice Offroader level drive trough sandstorm. Just Beautiful!!!

Thanks Marko for the valuable information learned during our first session. I learned new techniques and gained excellent knowledge about how to deal with many situations that we usually experience during the drive..

I echo Moamin’s comments. The instruction given was like no other instruction given from other clubs I’ve driven with before. During the drive when a mistake was made, the whole group received coaching and made to repeat the exercise until confident. I thoroughly enjoyed my first Desert Fellas experience and look forward to more drives and making new friends along the way.

This is how all new offroaders should start before entering the desert for the first time.
