Advanced Junior 4
Nice warm morning full of positive energy
We started on time with a briefing even though we had one late comer.
Advanced Junior level 4 was not in a way as planed. A slightly lowered pace defined the driving dynamics to help one of the members to catch up after missed trip before and to keep up with the convoy.
We held a quick lesson to prepare and remind our members for the upcoming challenges.
Shortly after warming up we had one car breakdown. This situation is telling us that we are slowly switching to driving mode where the vehicle needs additional modifications to withstand the new driving regime. Since the member could not continue driving, the sweeper escorted him out of the desert.
We continued drive at a slow offroader level pace and we had several self recoveries.
After a long break we had enough time to work on the details related to convoy discipline, communication, etc.
I believe that we all learned a lot and I strongly believe that next rive will be even better and more interesting.

First time for me to do cresting & switching, thanks for the tips that was given by Marko in the briefing and all the time during the drive, it helps me a lot to understand the technique of how to take the challenge and to stay SAFE. Of course some mistakes happened from me because of the lack of experience, will make sure to do not happen next time.
I want to thank Marko & Marc for not recommending me to join the last drive because my skid plate was not ready, you really saved my car.
I want to thank the support team as well for looking after all of the group.
I really enjoyed today’s drive, a lot of fun and knowledge.

It was so sad to leave this drive, there were a lot of “next level” things I wanted to test myself on.
