Respect is earned, not given
Joining Desert Fellas has been one of the best decisions I made for myself and my car.
This club is all about mutual respect and discipline. I was a total beginner and first time 4×4 owner. Enrolling for Ab Initio, I learned about the A-Z of off-road safety. It was an eye opener as I thought you can switch from city driving to desert driving. Turns out that desert driving is more of a combination of techniques and respecting gravity. You are taught how physics comes into play in the desert.
The Experts at Desert Fellas train you from scratch and help you build your confidence while learning the techniques and keeping you and your car safe. There are no silly questions. They will not lose patience even after third tries (from personal experience!).
I was eager to get all my safety equipment and upgrade to Junior level which is more challenging to drive in. The learning never stops.
I would recommend anyone, especially first timers, to join Desert Fellas. You have got to earn your flag and respect, unlike other clubs where you are judged based on the number of drives you have had, even if it is with incorrect techniques.
Looking forward to the future in Junior level, and much more in due course.
Keep The Desert Fellas Flag Flying High. #KTDFFFH
