Team blue consisted of the usual suspects and was great to have a seasoned fella returning to the sand after a break.

Warm up done, we made our way to the first location through series of side slopes and straight crests whereby one fella had some electrical issues with the car which the support team resolved and we got on our way again.

After a nice break and catch up with team red, the electrical gremlins turned up once again and so after a quick jump start we agreed to retire the car.

Moving on, with some nice climbs up and over big red, Lady Luck struck again! this time with a coolant leak. Here team red and blue joined forces to form a new convoy lead by Martin to the next location whilst a towed recovery was carried out to the nearest exit.

Regrouping at chefs bowl the new ‘dream team’ convoy played around with some nice climbs all the way to the exit where we were ahead of the scheduled time.
