Friday the 13th!

Share with your friends!

A very pleasant Friday afternoon with most of us ready for briefing at 16:00. After briefing convoy was set, Andrea 2nd lead, Mick, Rathica, Latif, Andre, Sid, Hamad and Preggy in the back, radio check done we got moving.

We started of very smooth with great flow on some lovely dunes, only a few second tries. once warmed up nicely we made our way to some larger dunes, this is were things got a bit challenging and we needed to have some extra focus as this area was extremely busy with desert safari. At least we got to see some perfect examples of what is unsafe driving. We managed to do some big hill climbs and side sloping which was a lot of fun. After about 48Km we moved to the exit 20 min earlier than planned to avoid the Safari traffic, enjoy a cup of team and watch the full moon rise.

Feedback

No issues today on a very smooth Jr drive, every one drove in an excellent and responsible manner, even the large hill climbs everyone knew their cars limits and turned down before they ran into trouble. This is what we like to see, control of your cars.

Thank you all for  your excellent company, see you all on the next one.

Really fun afternoon with great company, thanks fellas.

  2. Wonderful afternoon drive! Everyone drove responsibly. Good pace and nice challenges. We left in high spirits after a lovely cup of tea – courtesy of ChefMarc – and full moon bathing 😀

  3. Great afternoon in my favorite area! Chef Marc, you did great job leading the group through a busy area. All other fellas – it was good to see you!

  4. Another great trip with Chef Marc! Cool new area for me, looking forward to hitting pink rock again soon!

  5. The drive started in a really technical area, but in typical Chef Marc style, the lines were smooth and easy to follow. I had a blast on the big climbs and it looked like the rest of the convoy enjoyed it as much as I did. During the second half of the drive the traffic got really hectic so – in the interest of the group’s safety – we exited a little early and enjoyed the pleasure of each other’s company.
Thank you all for a safe drive and lovely company.

  6. The drive was a relaxed one with few steep hill climbs. My daughter had a blast shouting at the ups and downs on this junior level drive. Convoy was smooth and the spirits of the fellas was high. Slightly hot till the sunset. It was nice catching up with new & old fellas too.
