Basic training 6
Basic training 6 is the drive that team work, lessons and diciplines all come together for something very special.
A smaller group gathered together this crisp Friday morning, in the briefing we pointed out what challanges lay ahead and what development points needed to be fixed. During the briefing you could feel the excitement and and anticipation of each trainee, they knew something spectacular was about to unfold in the next few hours.
The warm up routine started promptly and with a much higher pace than before, straight of the bat the mystical flow like a river convoy display was in full swing. There were many convoys in the area but a well trained team kept a tight driving distance making navigating through this busy area very easy.
Not many second tries were needed but a quick pop out fix from our sweeper trainee in the early part of the drive kept delays to a minimum. After this this, pace increased along with the size of the dunes and bowls. Fellas were smashing dune after dune, hill climbs and technical areas like seasond experts with sharp radio coms and disciplined actions made it hard to believe that only 6 weeks ago it was for many of them the first time on the sand.
At the end of this drive I felt satisfied and a sence of pride with each and every member’s performance, one of the best dives I have had on trianing drive, this group showed what they are made of on this trip and are ready to move up.
Thank yo Zoubeir for 2nd lead and Johann for some good sweeping. See you all on the sand soon.

I haven’t seen this group since basic 3 and WOW, my mind was blown to see how well they drive. Discipline was on point on all aspects of the drive. Great safety distance and track following with quick, clear radio comms. I will drive with this group any day!!
