Junior 6 – Take 3
This drive had all the ingredients for a great afternoon in the desert. Fellas arrived early and full of enthusiasm, safety briefing started early and the drive started on schedule.
Then, less than 10 minutes into the drive, we had our first pop out. Was this a message from the desert Gods that the Juniorย 6 drive was jinxed?
Not at all. Soon after the pop out was repaired our Junior Fellas showed their true colors – and it was flaming red.
With Expert Marc sweeping and keeping an eagle eye on proceedings from the rear of the convoy while our second lead, Sven, kept the convoy informed and safe from the front – this convoy was on fire.
Our Juniors did an amazing job of traversing some pretty challenging straight crests and completing all the high climbing challenges with the right combination of power and control.
There were a few second tries and stucks along the way ( including the lead), but our sweeper disposed these glitches promptly to maintain the overall momentum of the convoy.
The desert was rather crowded today and that did limit the amount of time we could spend in the Pink Rock area but it did not limit the fun that the convoy had along the way.
Thanks Expert Marc and SL Sven for your brilliant support

Happy to hear this, good job guys ๐๐
We missed you Marko in this drive ๐
I know ๏ปฟ๐๏ปฟ
Iโm sure we all were 100% ready and came with one and only goal in front of our eyes, specially after the too many chances for Lvl 6 that we had.
In my personal view we all listened to the previous feedbacks came from leaders and took it more seriously than before. Iโm looking at my driving style in lvl 1 and 2 honestly I can see huge difference now.
Canโt thank you enough DF.
When I stared off-roading I thought itโs only for fun, today I can say proudly itโs more discipline than anything else.
Many thanks for you Preggy, Sven and ChefMarc.
All arrived to meeting point by14:00hrs. Its showing how hunger are fellas to prove something different in this dive. Unfortunately, first pop-out happened at 14:45. All day dreams were vanished. Initial drive started with low level but faster. After some warmup all fellas could show the improved performance. High dunes and tricky dunes were covered in the later part of the drive. For me its good experience and could learn new. Thanks to Preggy and Sven for the drive and the nice track. We could return home safely. Its really tough recover from struck during 40+ DegC. Special thanks to undercover agent and sweep.
Amazing drive! Very proud to see how much progress we have done as a group and individuals. I started this journey with DF completely green on off roading and with a stock car. I thought it would be impossible to reach the level of confidence and progress i have reached. Looking forward to practice and learn more and more. Thanks to all DF guys and especial for the team leaders that have the patience, skills and talent to teach in a very professional way. See you on the sand!
It’s wonderful to read the self reflection on your driving; the positive and determined mindset that you guys had during this drive. If drivers are disciplined and follow the instructions during the drive, practice the techniques while driving and think and act as a team, it will be fun drive for all as you all experienced.
Continue each drive with this positive attitude and mindset and your driving will soar.

Bloody day and night difference from attemt 1and 2. The drive was extremely enjoyable and had nice flow. Almost no stucks and 2nd tries, radio coms were good and there were long periods where tha radio was dead scilent with just the occasional โall goody at the back, all good at the frontโ coming through. I think maybe we all needed the kick on the but we recieved 2weeks ago. Was fantastic seeing everyone serious and focused on the drive and that led to a very fun drive! Thanks again to Preggy, Sven and Marko for keeping us safe and teaching us technique and dissapline!! Hope to see you all soon!
This is what i call a 5 stars drive. An amazing team (thank you guys), amazing lines ( thank you Preggy), an amazing second lead (thank you Sven) and an amazing “what a sweeper is supposed to do demo” by Marc.
Did I say amazing already ??
To say it in a different way : when is the next drive with DF ??
What else ? The smiles on our faces at the end of this drive was saying it in a less verbal way but very communicative too ๐
Happy to see the smiles, after a nice ride lead by Preggy guiding us through the busy slopes around pink rock on a Friday afternoon. Well done Fellas keep it going
