The festive holiday period just around the corner, our convoy gathered at 2nd December Cafeteria to begin our winter wonderland drive over the dunes of Nazwa.

Other than a few campers braving the low night time temperatures we had the area to ourselves.

Taking in the classic landmarks of Pink Rock, Chef’s Bowl and Big Red we also explored some more of the surrounding areas and were rewarded with satisfyingly flowing lines as we skipped from dune to dune, eating up the kilometres.

Heading towards Big Red and the higher challenges, a few second tries were called and swiftly handled by Anders and we were back on our way.

Big Red provided a fitting finale for the morning as we crossed over from the north side and made our way around via multiple high climbs.

Time flies when you’re having fun and although we could have stayed for much longer here, time ultimately getting the better of us we made our way to the exit nearby to inflate.
