REFADA
This morning, our team of adventurers was greeted by a desert transformed. Winds cooled the temperature but introduced challenges, reducing visibility and complicating passage through certain areas.
Familiar terrain now resembled labyrinths bounded by two-meter walls of freshly deposited sand from the recent storm. Some crests vanished entirely, forcing us to adapt our approach—navigating certain ridges required sliding along near-vertical faces of newly formed sand formations. Witnessing the desert’s evolution after the storm was astounding.
Despite these hurdles, our convoy progressed smoothly, with only a few brief recoveries handled confidently. After a break, we advanced toward the Iftar Bowl for lively moments, then pressed on to the Death Bowl. There, we realized three hours had flown by, signaling our exit time. Following a final burst of adrenaline-fueled maneuvers, we made our way out.
Today’s adventure concluded in high spirits, leaving us with lasting memories. Thank you all for joining—it was a true pleasure sharing the drive with this team. Until next time on the sands!
