Ramadan’s dunes
Ramadan’s Dunes convoy were ready and briefed 15 minutes before schedule, all the members were excited to head out in the sand and start the journey.
Didn’t take too long before we realised that a new construction expansion project cut off our path due to heavy equipment and holes in the ground. However, that didn’t stop the determined Fellas to reroute and create a new drive line that add extra 5 km throughout a very technical area.
After the convoy tackled that tricky zone with great discipline and ease, we picked the pace. Bigger dunes welcome us to do some side slope and cresting which lead us to Chef Marc’s POI, a great big Dune that we rocked after a well-deserved break. The rest of the trip was a happy medium between technical, straight cresting and side slope with some occasional cresting to get the members exited before reach the exit 10 minutes before schedule time, in order to give some rest to those Fellas that have an afternoon drive.

Congratulations on your inaugural drive Michael! You took the changes that were made early in the trip in your stride and didn’t let anything phase you, even though this route was new for you.
You made leading in the insanely technical area look so easy that the convoy had no hesitation or difficulty following. The big dunes midway through the trip were a real treat.
