Kicking off 2024 in style, a full convoy embarked on our Phoenix trip from Madam to Badayer as the early morning mist lifted from the dunes.

With a mix of experience levels, from new Junior graduates joining their first drive to seasoned Off-roaders, everyone brought their A-game today and with some very skilful driving on show we were able to cover an impressive distance and complete the planned route to make it to our destination just a few minutes behind schedule.

As well as sheer distance, this route had a bit of everything and demanded 100% focus the whole way. Our first break on top of a high dune was the reward for smashing a seemingly never ending technical area with no second tries and making short work of the sharp crests and tight turns needed to cross it.

Pushing on via Super Bowl and Iftar Bowl we picked up the pace, covering ground and seeking out flowing lines through the challenging terrain.

This area is always a joy to drive in and we certainly did it justice today – smiles all round testament to a fun morning on the sand.
