Love me rough
There are few things as majestic as the sun rising over the dunes and even more so when you’re perched high on a peak in the epic bowl area of Tilal Sweihan.
Sunday mornings in the desert are something special. Yes, they’re made for serious dune surfing… but they’re also for reflection. For clearing your head in the silence. For sipping hot karak while the first rays of sunlight warm your face the perfect reset before diving back into the weekly grind.
With the morning “meditation” complete, we kicked up into high gear and got straight to business. Gravity Bowl, 360, and every towering crest in between, we took them all on. It was one epic bowl after another.
The tracks were bumpy, but the lines were smooth. The convoy flowed beautifully, almost without incident… until we had to switch out a vehicles flat tyre. But no drama there just another quick and efficient recovery by our sweeper on duty, Pavel.
Right on schedule, we exited the desert, aired up, and pointed our noses toward home, recharged, reset, and already counting down the days until the next big dune adventure.
