Late sleeprs

Another big weekend carving up the legendary dunes of Sweihan and honestly, there aren’t many better ways to spend a Saturday afternoon.

We met at Nahil Pond, where a tight little convoy of JRs rolled in, fired up and ready to be pushed in new ways as they gear up for Advanced training. With tyres aired down and spirits high, we set off to send some golden sand flying.

Starting at a wicked pace, the focus was razor sharp. We tackled the big dunes around Nahil, carving silky slopes and flowing from crest to crest. Once we’d had our fill and dialed in the rhythm, we kicked it up a notch and pointed the convoy toward the mighty dunes of Sweihan.

Anyone who knows Sweihan will tell you, these dunes are something else. Towering giants, endless bowls, and pure off-roading bliss. It felt like a real treat to have the playground almost to ourselves, especially when a typical Saturday afternoon usually sees convoys charging up and down the legendary Nagrah Dune.

After dancing with that sand giant, it was time to make a dash for the exit, squeezing in a few epic bowls and punchy climbs to close out a cracking afternoon in the desert.

Outstanding drive all around. Can’t wait for the next one, catch you on the slopes soon.
