Few places on Earth offer the sheer thrill and driving challenge of Al Qua.

This marked the first camp of the season in Qua, and it was destined to be special. With perfect temperatures, breathtaking scenery, and dunes that seemed to call out to us, the stage was set for an unforgettable adventure. But don’t let its beauty fool you this off-roader’s paradise demands respect. The terrain can be as treacherous as it is stunning if you underestimate it.

As we reached our campsite for the night, there was still plenty of daylight left to explore. We wasted no time tearing through the gnarliest bowls, cresting dunes, and switching lines to our hearts’ content. At one point, we stopped at the legendary Stadium Bowl, giving some locals a quick masterclass on how to tackle those daring lines. When night fell, we returned to camp, gathered around the fire, and soaked in the spectacular night sky a perfect ending to an epic day.

At daybreak, we packed up and hit the dunes once more, eager to push ourselves again. The massive bowls were calling, and we couldn’t resist. Unfortunately, our adventure had to be cut short when an off-track mishap bent a spindle. But no worries everyone exited safely, our rigs still running strong. Once that spindle is fixed, you can bet we’ll be back for another round in the majestic Al Qua!
