Basic training lesson 4
Lesson 4 was set to be a wild one—both challenging and exhilarating! With a diverse mix of drivers and vehicles, we knew this would be an adventure to remember.
We kicked off at sunrise, right at the base of a towering red dune. The perfect scene for what lay ahead: bowl driving in the iconic red sands of Al Madam.
A quick warm-up got everyone in gear, but there was no time to sit back and admire the view. We jumped straight into some serious climbs, putting previous lessons to the test. With adrenaline pumping and engines roaring, our drivers tackled some gnarly ascents before diving into the heart of the day’s challenge.
After a bit of theory, it was time for a lot of practical action. Repetition was key, with each attempt pushing limits a little further. The challenges steadily ramped up until our trainees were confidently stringing together multiple bowls and climbs.
It was a demanding session, but the crew pulled off some fantastic driving, setting themselves up for even bigger challenges in Lesson 5.
A huge shoutout to Niall for keeping the convoy safe and steady. Can’t wait for next weekend’s adventure!
