Basic training 3
An almost perfect start to the morning with everyone on time and near perfect formation lineup.
Even before deflation a quick exercise for the team to get to grips with even more car behavior and control towards the deflation point, putting a bit of pressure on them to get ready quickly to reinforce efficiency. After trip plan and safety briefing the drive warm up got underway with out incident and had good flow even though safety distance needed some work.
We reached our first lesson area in a timely manner with more exercises on car control and a special technique to unlock more potential on handling and masterful driving. With a few rounds after this on side sloping one of our team had a power steering pump failure and the decision was made to exit him safely to the tarmac by our sweeper Zoubier so he could go have it looked at, ready for the next weeks lesson.
Our drive continued and with one more lesson, dune climbing, the convoy quickly got to grips with the new techniques and the trip started to pick up more pace. Once we entered the egg box area our drivers were well warmed up and flowed through the treacherous terrain with ease. Finally the dunes opened up to larger yet much more demanding dunes and with a quick shift into higher gear ratios we made the sand fly almost as high as our revs.
Along the way we had a few stucks and second tries but after a few minute the convoy started to flow well and the last 20-30min of the drive they finished strong with blistering pace to wards the exit slightly behind schedule.
Congratulations on another lesson completed, we can already see a massive improvement and some fast progression. Thank you Zoubier for great sweeping and the whole team for pushing their limits to the next level.
Catch you on the sand soon.
