Advanced Junior level 3

Surprisingly cooler this morning, which was most welcome to get the drive started.

With most of the Fellas on time we were just about on schedule. We started off nice and easy but it didnt take long for a few stucks to get the sweeper warmed up. Things startedĀ  to progress nicely and we made good ground with some easy cresting on our way to Big Red. Here we took a break before climbing and enjoy the bowls.

The cresting continued, some nice bowls, all the way to Pink Rock for some lovely high paces side slopes and hill climbs. Very close to the exit one Fella’s shock was showing signs of failure so we took a nice easy route out to finish exactly on time.

The advanced Jr’s did a great job with the good mix of all challanges and diciplines, which made for a very nice light offroader drive. Some diciplines still need tweakingĀ  but they all made me proud to see how far they have come.

Keep it up Fellas and see you on the sand soon.

Big thanks to Javier and Gonzo for the support today.

  2. The timing was perfect to start the Friday morning with cooler weather.we started as scheduled by conducting the covid19 check . The ride was fabulous trip with mix of challenges. Chef marc had stipulated to let’s enjoy the trip today and he delivered the commitment šŸ‘. We end up on time too. I could give a title for the trip dune rider. Thanks for Javier and Gonzo for the support. See you soon 😊

  3. Great trip Fellas. Thanks Chef Mark, Gonzo and Javier!

I’d a passenger with me today and it was his first time ever in a convoy, he loved it and was already talking about selling his sedan for a 4×4. The group really showed discipline and team spirit.

The drive started nicely with some intro cresting, Mark gradually upped the paces as we warmed up! The late 40 mins was very close to off-roader level with some nice cresting and a lot of quick switching! Extreme fun!

Looking forward to seeing the advance juniors graduating to off-roader level in the near future!

Early morning, beautiful weather and smooth drive. Yes couple of stucks and second tries but overall it was a chilling drive. The new thing that I’ve learned in this drive is you have to adapt your driving style and the timing in approaching the challenge based on the driving style of the driver in the car front of you, otherwise you will lose momentum and get yourself stuck.
Thanks Chef, Gonzo & Javier for the drive and the support, and see you soon on the sand šŸ’ŖšŸ¤™

  5. it was a cooler than usual morning for the summer weather. Chef Marc really laid out the foundations with a nice warm up followed by a quick pace hill climb after the break. It was thrilling. the view was majestic! prior to ending the trip, leader had all the fellas enjoying the higher pace and all techniques combined. I loved it!
some silly mistakes from mestill need correction and the learning never stops.
thank you for the trip DF support team.
    until the next!

  6. Fantastic drive, a lot faster than the other drives I have joined before.

It gave me a good understanding of what an off-roader drive is like and boosted our confidence on cresting.

Great punctuality and explanation of the challenges we were going to approach.

    Loved it!
