The summer scheme is great! Driving in the morning towards sunrise is invaluable.

Although my alarm clock didn’t ring this morning, I managed to get in on time to start driving.

After a quick briefing and preparation for the ride with certain exercises we did last time with Preggy, the task was easy. Warm up, sit on top of the dunes and ride thru the morning. This trip showed a lot about our driving and teaching philosophy in practice.

We had several self recoveries, recoveries and lot of “off-track”, “back on track” situations.

We also learn how filter “hygiene” is important.

Few more sand games and this group will be ready for much bigger challenges.

Thanks to the supporting team: Michael (The Aquamen) and Gianluca for keeping our trip discipline and standards sharp.

Thank you all for participating, thanks Michea for awesome photo.

Looking forward to see these happy faces again on new challenge.

  1. Fabulous and a lot of fun, learning experience 😀. Thanks Marko for the awesome drive

  2. Fantastic morning! Great to get out just before the sun and watch it rise as we warmed up!

This morning was a pure leaning trip from start to finish! Started off easy and gradually increase difficulty as the hours went by. It was awesome to drive some of the trip at the back of the convoy and some at the front, the crest is definitely a lot sharper at the front.

Thanks Marko, Gianluca & Aquaman. Awesome crew as always.

Hussam, the jeeps looking great, inspiring me to do some new work to the X!

P.S. Getting home before 930 was a great bonus.

So much fun and learning, thank you Marko, Mike, Luca and all of the wonderful fellas for the great team work and fun drive.

Always a pleasure driving with DF and DF exclusively.

  5. It was another great drive with DF, back to morning drives is perfect, so much fun today with lots of cresting, big thanks to the team for leading and special thanks to Gianluca for helping a fella out 🚙💨👍

  6. Loved the drive today , SHORT AND POSITIVE! Thanks to all DFs for the discipline and professionalism. Thanks Marko and Lucas for the great team spirit.

A very good learning drive today and new more experience to gain, i can see the difference from the 3 weeks ago drive when it was my first time ever to do cresting and today’s drive, before i was overspending with almost no control on the car over the crest, today more throttle control and speed only when it’s needed, result is ability to handle the car better over the crest.
Drive timing cannot be better, i was driving with my windows open with no need for the AC, in the same time i got all my engine power ready on demand and a lot of sand inside my ears.
A mix of soft & wet sand required different style of driving & a lot of focus to handle it.
My only issue was my car ground clearance which makes me scooping all the crests even after the 5 cars front of me paved the trail for me.
Marko ended the trip early when he noticed that that we all started to lose focus & a lot of off track and second try calls from all of us, yes, too much focus was needed for today.
Thanks guys for the non stop giving knowledge to us.
    See you next week 💪🤙

  8. What a great trip!
If I look back at where I was 6/7 drives ago, what we achieved on this trip seems so hard to believe.
Thank you all for the time spent teaching us the proper techniques, it’s paying off, I think none of us was scared and the gradual increase of difficulty was definitely manageable (even if there are many things we can definitely get better at).

I love the new timings of the trips, it’s easier to attend without upsetting friends and families for breakfast/lunch plans.

Special thanks to Gianluca for all the questions he Keeps answering, the mechanical knowledge, the pulls, the cheering and the advice while driving. Sweeper level: Bear Grylls.

  9. this was undoubtedly the most mentally challenging trip over the past couple of drives. Marko warmed us up straight away and gradually increased the difficulty level. the long stretch of crests was the perfect practice ground. the valuable feedbacks from Luca and Aquaman during the breaks were most welcome. I can see that we are improving each trip as a group. more work is to be done but the lessons are well organized and delivered. i’m a much better driver thanks to DF.
thank you for the trip safety and drive plan. it is always an honour to drive with DF!
