Basic training Graduation
Summer is officially here, and with the rising temperatures comes a brand-new generation of Junior Off-Road drivers.
It has been an intense few weeks of training. With the Eid holidays in the middle of the schedule, this session took a little longer than usual to complete. However, after a well-deserved break, our students returned refreshed, motivated, and ready to tackle the final stage of their Basic Training.
Today’s grand finale began at the foot of Big Red, the perfect playground of sand to warm up and put their newly acquired skills to the test.
The drivers rose to the challenge in spectacular fashion, conquering not only Big Red but seemingly every dune in sight as we made our way towards the iconic Chef’s Bowl at Pink Rock.
Along the route, we did have a pop-out to deal with, but thanks to our sweeper-in-training Darinka and Trip Leader Niall, the recovery was handled quickly and efficiently, allowing us to get straight back to the action.
The final assessments around Pink Rock provided a fitting conclusion to the course. With excellent discipline, strong convoy etiquette, and confident driving on display throughout the day, our students successfully completed their training and officially earned their promotion to Junior Driver level.
Welcome to the Junior Driver team! This achievement is thoroughly deserved, and we thank each of you for your focus, commitment, and dedication throughout the course. Fly your new flags proudly, uphold our standards, and continue to make us proud on every adventure.
A special thank you goes to Rayan and Niall for their outstanding support and guidance throughout the journey. The success of this group would not have been possible without your dedication and hard work behind the scenes.
Congratulations once again, and we’ll catch you on the slopes soon!
