JAMAL
The sound of air hissing from deflating tires, camels passing by our meeting spot, a beautiful sunrise, and the sense of adventure for the upcoming trip shared by all participants—another wonderful morning with a team of off-road enthusiasts thirsty for adventure.
After a safety briefing, we set off toward the sunrise, accompanied by camels. One of them seemed eager to join our off-road convoy and followed us for a while, so we had to stop briefly to let it cool down and return to its caravan.
Today, the drivers had varying skill levels, so the plan was to avoid challenging technical sections and split the drive into three levels while playing at well-known spots. We started with a good warm-up with the junior beginners, who showed solid driving skills according to DF standards. Then we ran nice lines with the advanced juniors, and completed some great switches with the off-road participants while the juniors took a well-deserved break.
We were very lucky on this drive, as the desert welcomed us with completely untouched, silky dunes that offered stunning views and allowed us to carve our own lines. By the end of the drive, the entire convoy was moving as one, with such a smooth flow that the junior level was sometimes upgraded to off-road level—showing the great potential of the new junior drivers who have joined the DF team.
A great drive for all participants despite a few minor issues—very smooth and enjoyable. Thank you all so much for coming, and see you back in the sand again!
