Run for the hills

First drive out in April and what an exhilarating one it was in the hills of Nahil.

Our meeting point this morning was an interesting sight, with muddy bogs and standing water left behind by the heavy rains two weeks ago. It created a spectacular scene, with lakes scattered between the dunes as we gathered for our briefing.

Once geared up and deflated, we carefully navigated through the mud before hitting the dunes for a solid warm up. The sand was pristine, smooth and silky, making it an absolute thrill as we carved through the slopes on our way to the first break, perched on top of a dune overlooking the majestic desert of Sweihan in the distance.

After some good banter and a few cups of karak tea, we pushed on in search of epic bowls and massive climbs and it didn’t take long to find them. Charging up and down those slopes was pure adrenaline, and those bowls, truly something else.

Before long, it was time to make our way to the exit, inflate, and head home. An epic Junior lvl drive to kick off the weekend. Looking forward to the next one, catch you on the slopes soon!
