Today was all about some serious heat—from the sun and the drivers!

We kicked off bright and early to see just how committed our aspiring advanced trainees were to elevating their off-roading skills. The trip’s structure was meticulously designed to identify development needs even before we touched the sand.

Our morning started at a brisk pace, with our silhouettes dancing on the dunes as we chased the sunrise, rooster tails of sand flying in our wake. The intense first leg of our journey proved challenging, bending one of our team’s rims. Even the formidable Swiehan now has many bushes to contend with, leading to an early exit and a spare wheel change for our slightly off-track crew member.

The next segment of the drive focused less on speed and more on mastering bowl lines, culminating in a break at Nagrah before heading back.

In the final leg, we got down to business, pushing limits and comfort zones to give everyone a taste of true off-roading. Our convoy rose to the challenge, balancing on the fine edge of fear and exhilaration. With sharp time management, we finished strong. Although a bit more experience is needed for a full-blown advanced training session, these drivers showed they are ready to commit and build their skills safely and disciplined.
