A Morning Spent in the Clouds chasing the sun.

What a start! Waking up a tad earlier than usual, all geared up to conquer the dunes before the sun peeks out. But oh boy, our journey to the meetup spot was a bit of a foggy affair, literally! That dense fog decided to tag along, extending our travel time by a few unexpected minutes.

As we reached the deflation point, visibility was a joke – barely 20 meters ahead! It was like gearing up for a blindfolded drive, relying more on gut feeling than eyesight.

Entering what we dubbed as the “wall of white” was equal parts exhilarating and nerve-wracking. Scaling up and then swooshing down those massive dunes amidst the clouds was like riding a rollercoaster in a dream.

Taking a breather above the fluffy clouds for a quick snap was surreal. And off we went again, this time tackling trickier routes with some serious crests. Navigating through the fog was no walk in the park, but man, did it get the adrenaline pumping!

Midway through, one of our crew members’ guests needed a motion sickness pit stop – a small hiccup but nothing we couldn’t handle. The rest of the journey saw more frequent breaks and a slightly tamer approach, ensuring everyone felt at ease.

Wrapping up our adventure in the desert, the fog still lingered stubbornly at 9:30 in the morning as we hit the exit. Kudos to the team for keeping spirits high despite our queasy companion. Can’t wait to hit these slopes again soon, hopefully with clearer skies and smoother rides ahead!
