Thirsty Camels
First off all welcome to Desert Fellas new joiners and thanks for attending the trip!
After a safety briefing the convoy order was established as follow:
Tiago as trip Leader, Sid as Second Lead, followed by Ryas, Alessio, Sara and our Sweepper Salouh.
We started with small side slopes to warm up, then moved to a more technical area before attacking the big dunes.
Saraโs JK had a mechanical problem and we conducted to one of the emergency points where she retired from our trip!
Fingers crossed that itโs nothing $eriou$!!!
We then hit a sequence of bigger slopes in a faster pace with some cresting performed as well.
4 stucks and some self recoveries were nicely done by our sweeper.
We had several second tries as well.
As the clock was ticking and approaching 10:30 AM, we drove back to the meeting point.
Overall was a very fun drive and as my first trip as official leader Iโm very happy and proud with the outcome!
SID: Thanks for the second lead again bro, you are doing great!
SARA: Unfortunately due to your technical problem I was not able to evaluate your performance today. I hope to see you soon in one of our trips!
ALESSIO: Very good control of you car and distance on the convoy was kept constant throughout the trip. Well done!
One point that can be improved is the communication, it has to be more effective and clear!
RYAS: Nice FJ! In many occasions you were too close to the second lead, remember to keep 4 to 6 cars of distance, not any closer. If the car in front of you has to do an emergency stop you have enough room to brake or deviate!
Also, the track has to be kept all the time!
SALOUH: Lots of work in quite a hot day ! Shukran Habib!
Thanks Marko for the new flag, It means a lot to me!!!
