Fahrenheit
After a whole week of an agonising wait for Fahrenheit drive, the sense of excitement was thick in the air while watching the sun rise over the dunes.
This was a group of seasons offroaders with skills and experience to test our limits and find if we can push them further, so we watsted no time in the warm-up to jump head first into some big challenges.
Our first hour of the drive was focused in some of the best bowls in the area, finding some new lines and switching between what felt like an almost endless supply of back to back bowl , crest, bowl combinations.
During our second hour the convoy headed to Old Lady dune which was very chewed up with tracks but in all honesty seemed to be an easier challenge compared to the previous bowls. At this point we saw some dune faces that seemed impossible to concur because they were a silky smooth contrast compared to the track riddled faces around, so picked our lines and like artists put some beautiful tracks to the top of the crests.
As the third hour drew closer it was time enjoy the temple area and this is where we crossed new limited and add to our skill tool box. Big climbs with max power and torque combined with perfect gear shifts had us cresting parts of the temple dune that looked untouched for years. This convoy was was easily putting big V8’s to same as other convoys started entering the area and after almost 3 hours of driving at full throttle it was time to take a break in the shade with homemade Karak.
The last hour of our adventure turned out to be almost two just because it was way too much fun to head towards the exit on time and everyone agreed to spend more time to find some bigger challenges and crest some more giants. On the way to the exit the light was not optimal and after conducting a few recoveries on very tall sharp crests, we did manage to find some very technical high speed cresting that left us all well satisfied once we reach the exit.
A massive thanks to all , Malcom, Victor, Zoubeir and Hussam for an epic Saturday morning well spent. This dive will be fresh in our memories for years to come. Catch you on the sand soon.

The warm up really set the tone for the next 4 hours of fun which was full power!! Our engines made the most of the cooler air with The rev counter barely dipping below 3,500rpm.
Thanks fellas for an adrenaline packed start to the weekend! Great lines, great company and great karak as always.
What a great drive, amazing area and warm gathering with old friends.
Thank you Chef for the great amazing lines and Karak, thank you everyone for the great company 😍
Beautiful morning spent in a new area for me. The first part of the drive just kept on giving bowls one after another!
I enjoyed the Saturday morning, the company was amazing as usual.
Looking forward to next drives in such areas so we can achieve full potential.
