The meeting point for today’s drive could easily have been mistaken for an off-road jamboree, and the sea of multicolored flags gave the area an almost festive feel.
The drive got off to a quick start in an area with large dunes and our rather large convoy in hot pursuit. Shortly afterwards one of the Fellas had to exit because his passenger started feeling sick. Fortunately we were close to a gatch road, so he made an easy and safe exit.
After about an hour of long side slopes, steep climbs and weaving between parallel dunes, our convoy had earned a well deserved break. Since the area was surrounded by incredible bowls and crests, our Off-roaders were treated to a quick spin before joining the rest of the group for snacks and a chat.
The second leg of the drive was all about side sloping on high dunes and long steep descends. Through all of this the convoy maintained good discipline and our sweeper was quick to offer guidance to keep the convoy rolling among smoothly.
Upon arriving at Nagara, our Juniors got their first bite at this rather imposing dune. Side sloping on Nagara was a little tricky due to the reminiscence of grader tracks close to the base of the dune. However, our convoy took the necessary precautions and made the most of the experience.
After the Offroaders had a go at the crests on the flanks of the gigantic dune, the convoy climbed to the top Nagara and descended the extremely long and steep face with great control.
We exited the desert in a plume of dust that was created by the convoy reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h along a gatch road.
This drive really show cased the skill level of our Juniors, who had an absolute blast. Thanks Johann (SW), Hussam (SW) and Victor (SL) for keeping the convoy safe throughout the drive

This is a next level drive 💪🏻
100% it deserves 10 starts.
Thanks Preggy for making our weekend 👍🏻
To wake up at 4.30am for that drive with a such great company was totally worth it. As usual lines were perfect and safe, comms were top notch, convoy discipline was at its best….what else??? Always grateful to drive in the sand with such passionate team mates. Thanks guys!
Thanks fellas! A very enjoyable drive in a fantastic area which pushed the limits of stamina and concentration but nothing was stopping this train!
What a great welcome back after about a month compulsory time off!!
The disciplines, communication and driving skill were top of the shelf, very impressive driving from everyone, the area is of very interesting potential for offroader level trips too, but very enjoyable for fun drives too.
Great lines from Preggy as usual, with the occasional offroader 2 minutes rounds made a great trip for everyone.
Looking forward to the next one! Thank you for the amazing team work.
It has been a while since my last time in Sweihan and this trip was a worthy comeback to this area. Big side slopes, long climbs, and great company. Everything we want to have in a great drive.
Having a bigger convoy was great and it was nice to see how it paved through the desert like a train and the long drive was a good practice for the stamina of the drivers. Having small sections to push us a bit more and going through them one by one on new and bigger challenges was a welcomed gift for us.
A big thanks to Preggy for the great lines, Hussam(SL), Victor and Johann to keep an watchful eye on the convoy and give us tips on challenges.
The next time I’m signing up again for sure on this 10 star trip.
