Junior level 3 (AI 14)
Today sweeper could of left his kenitic rope at home, but just have his jack and compressor handy. I think it could of been close to our record with 5 pop outs. 3 of them at the same time! Let just say it was leg day for sweeper team.
Objective today was to lay down foundations for the next few drives because learning curve and challenges will increase drastically! We had to cover a lot of techniques and km’s so we got stuck into it pretty quickly with a few second tries and pop out which would be frequent.
Pace and dynamic struggled today to pick up, some drivers where excellent and most others held the convoy back, but with perseverance we were able to fix alot of issues and put some work into building confidence. Today it was clear if you dont follow track you wil get stuck or need a second try, if you dont use momentum or use your breaks you need a second try or get stuck, if have a large gap between cars, you loose track.
Even though it was a challanging drive, all drivers learned something new, more controll and better feeling of thier vehicles. Near the end of the trip we pick up Pace and started ti move together better and just before exit one last pop out for good measure.
Thanks to Hussam for SL, Michael and Preggy on sweeper duty. See you on the sand soon.

Thanks Chef Marc, Hussam, Preggy and Micheal for the beautiful learning drive today, looking forwad for more!
Thnx guys for the trip, enjoyed it!!
Awsome experience. I start to get a much better communication between the environment, myself and the FJ. I realise that we are doing stuff in the sands at speeds that I could now even have dreamed of – and it is dreamlike.
Thanks marchal, swewpers and leads!
Cheers to my fellow juniors for good driving input!
Thanks everyone for the great morning and workout 🏋️♀️. Looking forward to see you soon.
Another great drive led by Marc, I felt my turning curve improved some doing the drive as did the ability to maintain correct distance, it does still need some work though. But this is what practice is for 😀
I really liked the technical part of the drive and the big slopes. Great fun, especially when we picked up the speed.
You know it was a good drive when you’re sweaty afterwards 😉
Finally we learned the famous “tap tap” technique 😁. A very useful technique that I will eventually get the hang of, but it’s already helping me follow the tracks better.
The technical area in middle of the drive was a really good way to learn new levels of what my car can do snd how I can better be in control of it.
Thanks to Michael for the pop out help and to Marc for a great drive backed up by very helpful and patient support from Preggy, Hussam and Michael.
Can’t wait to raise the level on the next one. Let’s hope my car can stay in one piece.
Thanks Chef Marc for the lines, Aqua Man and Preggy for the workout.
Thanks for everyone, practice makes perfect, if there is one piece of advice I can give, it would be just reflect on the individual feedback you receive, understand it well and work on it next time.
Thanks all, enjoyed the pace and can feel things coming together. Looking forward to next week, putting it all together
