Junior level 5 (back again)
Every one early this morning and ready for drive before 6amAWESOME!
It was good to see some old faces of Fellas that were out of country for a while so we started warming up and dusting off the cob webs. Drive started very mild with some small dunes making our way to Big Red.
Once we reached this dune we were all warmed up, so briefed the Juniors on hill climbing then tackled the challenge, everyone was showing good discipline so we increased more and more, climbing the dune front to back, side to side, bowls and holes and the team did amazing. At this point one Fella was having some fuel sensor issue, so sweeper took him to exit safely.
We moved towards Pink Rock with some beautiful lines and flow, one or two stuck and second tries which sweeper dealt with smoothly.
Once we reached Pink Rock we played at chefs bowl, did big side slopes and big hill climbs in 4low then high, all while picking up the pace gradually. Even though some Fellas struggled to reach the top they were persistent, climbing and climbing with good control and discipline.
After burning a lot of fuel and started to show some signs of shock fade we headed to the exit 8 min behind schedule and after completing 64km.
Excellent job today from team, we achieved alot with great discipline.

I enjoyed a lot starting from the hot warm up which was great to learn and practice what we have done at the end 👍🏻

You can definitely feels that winter is in its way, it was nice out this morning while deflating.
Today’s drive really made it worth the effort of waking up at 4am. It was good fun climbing the high dunes at a higher pace. I can feel myself improving every week and feel more comfortable driving my car.

Thanks Marc and Sujith for a challenging drive today. It was good to get back in the dunes and build up my confidence after a bit of a break. I’m already looking forward to the next one and I’ll have my fuel sensor checked in the meantime. 😎
Amazing drive. The pace was very nice to practice what we have learned. Getting more confident and knowing my car every drive. The challenges are getting harder but the fun is always there. Thanks for another great one!
A great drive with differents kind of terrains from the beginning ’til the end. A superb way to practice what we’ve learned since AB 12 !! Looking forward to the next one ! Thanks to Marc for his opening, Johann for his second lead and Sujith for his sweeping.

I had a long break from the desert, but from the first hour my memory refreshed and I was my natural habitat🙃. The temperature was not as bad as I imagined, we tackled some technical areas and cruised through some beautiful dunes towards the end. Throttle control, distance and suspension were put at a test, with everyone showing great spirit and discipline. Sujith had to work a little and supported us greatly (thank you!). Another level under the belt! Thank you DF team for another amazing drive!!
