The final installment of our basic training course is always a testament to how well the trainees progress in only 6 drives.

Everyone was on time and ready for briefing at 6:30 sharp. As we gathered round during the briefing we reflected on how far we have come from the very first lesson only a few weeks back and each and every driver  can be proud of them self today. Not everyone has the grit, persistence and tenacity to reach day 6.

While in high spirits the warm up started and we made our way directly to Pink Rock area where we executed on some high dune climbs and bigger bowl driving before stopping at chefs bowl for a break and some Karak tea. One team member did have to have a tire change due to a puncher and our sweeping team jumped into action. .

After enjoying some breathtaking views of the red coloured desert land scape it was time move on. Our convoy smashed the high hill climbs all around the mountain and started our journey toward even bigger dunesnear the exit. Along the way we had several self recoveries but managed to reach the peaks at big red.

The final part of the drive was very demanding but because of their training these Fellas and Felicitas conquered all.

Well done team, we are very proud of you and all your hard work has paid off with some great driving today. Congratulations on completion of your training and I’m sure you will agree you are all on a new level then when you started.
