3 Peaks
It was a dark and stormy night, but only supposedly. A small group of fellas dared into the desert to get our off-roading fix.
Our daring got rewarded with a meeting area without rain and the sky started to clear up. After preparations and a quick safety briefing, we headed towards 2nd December cafeteria.
The first part of the way was like riding on rails in a beautiful scenery. Moving swiftly and having all this area for ourselves, we enjoyed the long but low side slopes in the area until we reached the first onset of higher dunes.
Soft sand and previous rain created a new experience for some fellas with steep climbs that demanded concentration and throttle control. This area was perfect to hone skills, enjoy the scenery and climb the first peak.
We used this spot on top of the dunes for a quick break, some banter and enjoyed some Karak. After a few minutes the clouds closed around us and heavy rain set in.
With the changed situation we decided quickly to head down to 2nd December cafeteria and call it a day.
Thanks everyone who dared out today to enjoy the short drive. Special shout out for Martin on sweeper duty, Matt as second lead and Marko’s supervision.
See you soon to complete the trip
