With the season changing it brings a mystique to the desert in form of fog, and on this morning the fog was exceptionally heavy.
Meeting in Nazwa today, at the same location as our friends from Basic training 5 was quite refreshing, especially since the Basic Training 6 convoy was so small.
A big group and the last embers of winter season were with us today with cooler temperatures.
Wrecking ball started early and we could feel the summer was starting. The temperature wasn’t as cold as the days before.
The sand in Al Faqaa was unusually soft for this time of year.
Our convoy was bright an early to the meeting point. This shows good signs of commitment. After deflation, the team was briefed on what lays ahead for the lessons of the day. They were also reminded on their respective development points. The plan of the day was to tidy up as much as possible on those development points while practicing the lesson of the day. Some brain food was also on the menu which really lifted the team spirit.

This was probably one of the last desert camps of the season so we were hell bent on making this one count and the memories last well into the the late summer.
An almost perfect start to the morning with everyone on time and near perfect formation lineup.
