Basic training lesson 2

Share with your friends!

One chilly start this morning at a brisk 12 degrees before sunrise, and a few trainees played hide-and-seek with the meeting point in the early light.

After getting our rigs prepped for the day’s adventure, it was time to revisit this week’s development goals with a fresh focus. With tires warmed up and sand flying, we kicked off the morning’s journey, conquering challenges with a mix of skill and a couple of second tries, including a few kinetic rope recoveries.

Mid-morning brought us face-to-face with some epic side-sloping, and one trainee, battling motion sickness, made the tough call for an early exit. Our sweeper swiftly returned from guiding him out, and we geared up for tackling technical dunes, keeping our sweeper on his toes with a few recoveries.

The final leg included super side-sloping, honing our car control skills before smoothly exiting, just a few minutes fashionably late due to our sweeper’s heroic rescue mission for stranded campers.

A highly productive morning packed with practical applications – our team is shaping up nicely, ready for the next lesson. Big thanks to Marcin for second lead and Sven for rocking the sweeper duty today. See you in the sand next week!
