Basic training 2
Lesson 2 arrived shrouded in heavy fog, as if Mother Nature herself was sending her official signal of the changing seasons.
Our goal today was to dive deeper into the “pool,” so to speak. We tackled sharper crest crossings, tackled bigger side slopes, and even sampled a bit more of the technical terrain buffet.
The low range came to the rescue multiple times, not just for the occasional recovery that kept our sweeping team on their toes, but also for delving into tightly packed and, at times, pretty nasty dunes. All of this granted us a fresh perspective on navigating with lower gear ratios and understanding the quirks of our vehicles.
We managed to meet all our objectives for the day, and our trainees have already achieved so much in just two weeks. With the pace picking up, we’ll soon witness the rise of a new generation of dune champions.
What a fantastic morning out there, team! A big shoutout to our supporting duo, Martin and Sven. Looking forward to seeing you all next week for Lesson 3!
